Student diary is provided to every child. This contains all important information of the student’s progress and record for the academic year. All information and communication between the parents and the teachers are recorded in this diary. It is mandatory to carry the school diary for the students daily.
School has transport facility for Air Force and Non-Air Force students plying on the specific routes. The students can avail the bus facility on request to commute from Siliguri also on the specified routes as per the Air Force Rules.
Admission is conducted in the school throughout the session as per the IAF ECS Rules in order to facilitate the admission to children of AF Personnel coming on transfer from out station, subject to the stipulation laid down by the CBSE in classes IX - XII and vacancies present. Admission is extended to children of different categories as per the rules laid down by the AFS ECS giving preference to children whose parents are posted in the local AF Station.
The four houses are named after the stalwarts of the Indian Air Force. Each house activity is supervised by the able teachers. The four houses and the mottos and colours are as follows :
